Senior Tryouts
Welcome to 2025 -2026 Senior Elite Tryouts!
The SPARKz are stepping up our cheer game for next season. We are holding tryouts for the new Senior Elite Coed Squad. We are looking for the best male and female cheerleaders Texas has to offer. Strong, solid bases, enthusiastic flyers, dependable spotters and energetic tumblers.
The tryout routine can be accessed on our BAND App. After registration you’ll receive an invite by email or text prompting you to join the app. Every member is responsible for learning the tryout routine prior to the date of tryouts.
Tryout Dates
April 12 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
April 13 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
May 17 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
May 18 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Requirements:
Ages 13 - 19
Members are required to know a minimum of 3 items listed below:
Cartwheel
Round off
Front Walkover
Back walkover
Toe touch
Front hurdler
Backspring
*30 members will be chosen
*5 alternates
Tryout Attire:
plain white tee shirt
blue or black shorts or sweats
white tennis shoes
In the event your child is chosen for the team, you will be notified via email within 24 hours after tryouts.
April 19th - May 25th Each week the members will focus on increasing a skill. Example: tumbling, stunting, jumps or dance.) (attendance not required)

First Practice of the Season (Mandatory)
Demerits begin
Preparation begins for the upcoming competition season begins.
Uniform Package Includes:
Competition cheer uniform, glitter bow, custom jacket with 1 rhinestone applique placement, custom practice set w/ 1 rhinestone applique placement, Glitz Pro Backpack Garment Bag, Competition Cheer Shoes
Uniform Deposit Due June 1, 2025 $250
Uniform Balance Due July 1, 2025 $250

Competition Season Begins
SPARKz Membership at Cedar Hill Recreation Center.
An active membership of $20 per month is required with Cedar Hill Recreation Center to remain on the squad.

Cedar Hill Recreation Center Gymnasium
310 E Parkerville Rd.
Cedar Hill, Texas 75104
Practice Schedule:
Saturday 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M.
Sunday 4:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M.
*Competition entry fees, hotel accommodations and travel are not included in membership.
*USASF Membership is required (please register after June 1, 2025, to avoid duplicate registration fees)
